Projects will start year round. If we are satisfied with your work for this first project, you may be called for future projects with us.
Please bring your own camera, preferably a red camera. If currently unavailable to bring own camera, we are willing to rent one for you to use during the short project term.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
-We are looking for a creative, professional cinematographer who loves what they do.
-Cinematographers with substantial experience preferred.
-Recent graduates welcome to apply (we are looking for creativity and skills)
-Please provide a quote for your services and show samples of your work when applying
-Pay negotiation based on experience
The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with prototyping tools such as Origami, Webflow, Proto.io etc is an asset, but not a requirement.
Programming skills are absolutely not required, and in general will be viewed as a negative. We are looking for a creative individual, not a jack of all trades.

2. Three examples of professional work (art school projects don’t qualify). This must be real work, that was done for a client. These examples should include one example of wire-framing. One example of mobile design. And one example of desktop design.

This is a full-time position, with negotiable composition based on your experience. You may work from home if you prefer, or you can work from our office.
Sound recordists are deft around sensitive audio equipment and experts in using them to produce quality sound. We expect you to be knowledgeable about different audio recording and editing techniques. If you also possess a creative mind and a good ear we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow instructions and details from directors, producers etc
- Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings
- Record, edit and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.)
- Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings
- Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks
- Create and maintain sound libraries
- Resolve technical issues when they arise
- Must be able to work afternoons and overnights
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as recording engineer
- Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. equalization)
- Experience with sound editing and recording equipment (e.g. mixing consoles)
- Working knowledge of recording software and hardware (e.g. Pro Tools)
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
- Excellent hearing and manual dexterity
About the role
This is a contract position in Toronto, with the potential for full-time growth.
We are looking for a resourceful, imaginative, entrepreneurial content creator who can work closely with a small team to provide both editorial photography and build fun, creative videos for people to like and share across our platforms.
Content may include social video: a mix of explainers, hosted segments, original series, special features, and branded collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Delivering journalistic and lifestyle photography, set by editors.
- Producing videos quickly (including same-day edits), set by producer and/or client.
- Working with a busy, small team with the focus of sourcing, editing, and packaging video content to the highest standard.
- Demonstrating strong and fluent editorial techniques through proper timing, pacing, organization sound design, and asset management within a timeline.
- Working flexible hours including nights and weekends when required.
Qualifications
- Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere/After Effects/Lightroom/Photoshop.
- Creating content with a variety of video equipment including: DSLR cameras, lenses, mobile devices.
